Bachelor of Law from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (UNMSM), former academic director of the UNMSM's structural litigation clinic, honorary member of the UNMSM's Environmental Law workshop.

He has experience working with indigenous peoples in Peru's Socio-Environmental Fund; he is a researcher in environmental law, with international exchange studies at the Universidad del Rosario in Colombia and JLU (JUSTUS LIEBIG UNIVERSITAT GIESSEN) in Germany.
