On June 13 and 14, we participated in the workshop on the Right to Food, held at the facilities of the Native Federation of the Madre de Dios River and Affluents (FENAMAD).
This space was used for women leaders and representatives of the Women’s Area of FENAMAD and their bases to develop a roadmap to present their proposals for the development of the right to food for the indigenous communities of Madre de Dios as well as prioritization of public funding to achieve the goals of climate change and biodiversity.
This event was held within the framework of the project “The Right to Food and the Right to a Future in the Peruvian and Bolivian Amazon”, which is implemented in our country through an agreement between FENAMAD and DAR, supported by WHH.
