¿QUIENES SOMOS?

Are Law, Environment and Natural Resources (DAR), a Peruvian non-profit civil association created in 2004 with more than 19 years of work in the contribution of the development of the country, from the management and sustainable use of its natural resources, the management of the environment and the protection of human and collective rights.

In response to the challenges of the new times, and as part of a process of continuous improvement, we have developed a new Strategic Plan 2023-2027, through which we renew our commitment to socio-environmental governance in the Amazon:

DAR is an organization that contributes to the defense of human rights, conservation and sustainable use of natural resources, promoting socio-environmental governance in articulation with local populations and indigenous peoples.

Knowledge management and organizational learning; empowerment, articulation and strengthening of actors and institutions; and advocacy and policy implementation, social monitoring and sustainable local initiatives.

    • Contribute to the functionality of Amazonian ecosystems for their conservation, sustainable use and adaptation and mitigation in the face of climate change.
    • Drive effective processes, safeguards and planning (design) and management tools.
    • Contribute to the design and implementation of policies and standards and initiatives on transparency, access to information and participation.
    • Contribute to the protection and exercise of rights with emphasis on Economic, Social, Cultural and Environmental Rights – ESCER and rights of indigenous peoples.
