Diandra Torres Monge

Biologist from the National University of the Peruvian Amazon (UNAP). She holds two master's degrees: one in Social Management with a specialization in Social Project Evaluation, and another in Ecology and Sustainable Development, both from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
She has over 20 years of experience in managing social and environmental projects, with an emphasis on co-management of Protected Natural Areas, combating environmental crime, food sovereignty and security, energy transition and renewable energies, as well as forest conservation and sustainable natural resource management in communities in the Peruvian Amazon.
In her role at DAR, she works on initiatives aimed at strengthening environmental governance and promoting a fair and sustainable energy transition, with a special emphasis on local capacity building and the formulation of inclusive public policies with a rights-based approach.
