She is a member of the World Commission on Protected Areas and the group of specialists on the Green List of Protected and Conserved Areas of the Unión Internacional para la Conservación de la Naturaleza (IUCN) in Peru.

She has more than 15 years of experience in environmental management and biological diversity conservation.
