César Gamboa Balbín

Senior Advisor of Executive Management

Lawyer and Doctor of Law and Political Science from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (UNMSM). Master’s degree in Democracy and Good Governance and currently pursuing a PhD in the Rule of Law and Global Governance program at the University of Salamanca. He holds a second specialization in Public Law and Good Governance from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP).

He is currently a member of the External Advisory Group of the Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism of the Inter-American Development Bank (MICI BID) and of the Board of Directors of PROFONANPE.

He has more than twenty years of experience working on natural resource governance issues. His current areas of interest are: Amazonia and investments, indigenous peoples’ rights, extractive industries, and international financial institutions.
