Pilar Camero Berríos

Coordinator of the Institutional Management Unit

Lawyer from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (UNMSM) and bachelor's degree in Law and Political Science from the same institution.

She holds a Master's degree in Forest Resource Conservation from the National Agrarian University of La Molina (UNALM) and a Diploma in Governance and Political Management from the George Washington University, Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) and the Andean Development Corporation.

An expert in environmental law and indigenous peoples' rights, she has over 20 years of professional experience. She has been a civil society representative before the Permanent Multisectoral Commission of the EITI Peru.

Member of the Environmental Law Alliance Worldwide (ELAW) and member of the Latin American Network for Environmental Forest Law (RELADEFA).

She has taught at the Institute of Natural Sciences, Territory, and Renewable Energy at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Peru (INTEPUCP) and at the Graduate School of the Cayetano Heredia University (UPCH) and its Center for Environmental Sustainability (CSA – UPC). She has also authored numerous publications.
