Doctorate in Anthropology from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP), with a Master's degree in International Water and Soil Management from the Wageningen University (Netherlands). Holds a degree in Agricultural Engineering from the Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina (UNALM).

Experience in analyzing public policy on issues related to integrated water resource management, negotiation and resolution of conflicts over natural resources, extractive industries, climate change, and land use planning.
