Bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Master's degree in Political Sociology from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (UNMSM).

He has experience working with Amazonian indigenous organizations on planning, indigenous policy and governance, prior consultation, and PIACI.

He has participated in qualitative research on child poverty, youth, indigenous movements, and bilingual intercultural education.
